Jil Pasiecnik was raised on a farm in Western Massachusetts and has had a lifelong love for writing, comedy and Dunkin’ Donuts. After getting her BA in English and Creative Writing at UMass Amherst, she moved to Atlanta with her twin sister to get involved in the budding film industry. In 2015, they started their own production company, J and J Productions, with the aim of creating more opportunities for women in front of and behind the camera. They have since produced digital shorts for Adult Swim, Funny or Die and have had a web series acquired by Amazon Prime, all directed and written by women.
Jil moved to Los Angeles in 2019 to pursue comedy writing and podcasting and as 2020 luck would have it, landed her dream job back in Atlanta as a Content Strategist with FRQNCY Media, where her obsession with podcasts has been fully embraced. As an avid and longtime listener, Jil is tuned in to what an audience wants. She uses her passion and industry expertise to think out of the box and create unique, enduring podcasts. Jil continues to write and perform stand up comedy and writes a weekly true crime newsletter, True Crime Roundup. She can still grow a fine potato.
