Growing up in the heart of Tobacco Road a die hard Duke Basketball fan, Sidney Evans is a "ball-is-lifer" turned audiophile. After competing as an NCAA collegiate athlete at Fayetteville State University, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications in 2013, Sidney's natural curiosity led to a deep-dive into the world of audio.
With R&B music as the backdrop of his formative years, Sidney's venture into the audio world centered around music. That love for music quickly developed into a love, appreciation, and lowkey obsession for podcasts. Soon thereafter, Sidney's obsession drove him to develop a crafted skill set as an audio editor and mixer of dialogue, with a focus on podcasts. And that road led him to where he is today, as an audio editor at FRQNCY Media.
In addition to his work on FRQNCY productions, you can hear Sidney's dialogue editing and mixing skills on The Minority Trailblazer Podcast, Celeste the Therapist Podcast, Cope for the Culture Podcast, The Bossy Bees Podcast and the Whiskey, Jazz and Leadership Podcast.
