FRQNCY Media has added a new name to its growing and diverse roster of podcast partners: fashion mogul Diane von Furstenberg (DVF), the iconic Belgian-born fashion designer, businesswoman and philanthropist.
Titled “InCharge With DVF” after von Furstenberg’s manifesto of female empowerment, the podcast launches exclusively on Spotify today with a trailer, followed by the weekly release of seven episodes beginning March 12. “InCharge” features in-depth conversations with some of the world’s most successful, powerful and influential women about the journey of life and survival, and what it means to be a woman “in charge” of her own path.
For example, while many know Karlie Kloss as a supermodel and host of “Project Runway,” DVF invited her on “InCharge” to talk about Kode with Klossy, the coding nonprofit for young girls she founded in 2015 that now hosts upwards of 1,000 campers annually.
The first season will also feature conversations with ultimate momager and entrepreneur Kris Jenner; actress, philanthropist and film producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas; journalist and New York Times best-selling author Elaine Welteroth; and inventor, CEO and Sirius XM co-founder Martine Rothblatt.
FRQNCY’s founder and CEO Michelle Khouri served as the executive producer for “InCharge.” She, along with team members Enna Garkusha (producer) and Peter LoPinto (editor), managed every detail of the production, from storyboarding and scripting, to coordinating guest interviews, to being on-site at every interview ensuring von Furstenberg’s vision is realized.

Khouri first connected with von Furstenberg when FRQNCY was chosen to produce and launch the 2019 “Raising the Torch” podcast for Apple and The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, coinciding with the grand opening of the Statue of Liberty Museum. Von Furstenberg, a Foundation board member, served as the podcast’s narrator.
